iPhone 6 feature - my one wishThe iPhone 6 is fast approaching if all of the chatter, hints and leaks are to be believed. In keeping with previous launches, I expect it to be unveiled in September and to come with a few new snazzy features that will undoubtedly appease the masses (yours truly included).

There are all manner of rumors on what the iPhone 6 features will be, ranging from unbreakable and scratch resistant Sapphire Glass screen (as trialled on the fingerprint sensor of the iPhone 5s), enhanced processor and eye tracking sensor technology right through to liquid metal interior components to help make the phone super thin. Amazon Fire phone specsAmazon finally unveiled their new smart phone at a launch event in Seattle on Wednesday and to be perfectly honest, the Amazon Fire phone specs and feature details are unlikely to revolutionise the industry. iPhone 6 leaked imageThe iPhone 6 rumors have been doing the rounds for months but there now seems to be more substance to them as iPhone 6 leaked images were displayed across the internet over the past few days. They have also come from a (relatively) creditable source in the form of Aussie blogger Sonny Dickson who’s previous Apple leaks have proved to be accurate so many are believing that this is the real deal. Half of cell owners don’t know where to recycle cell phones

Where to recycle cell phonesA new survey conducted by Kelton Research has found that half of American cell phone owners don’t know where to recycle cell phones or what to do with old, unwanted or broken handsets. The study was conducted between the 10th and 17th March across a panel of over 100 American’s aged 18 or over who owned a cell phone. The findings show that many people still aren’t aware that they can get cash for cell phones or that the cell phone recycling industry exists.

This is a major problem as more and more handsets get released and people upgrade frequently to the latest and greatest. Recycling those old cell phones will help the environment and put cash in your pocket, it is a win-win situation for all. Even broken cell phones can be worth hundreds of dollars. It isn’t just cell phones that can be recycled either, tablets, iPad’s, iPod’s, MP3’s, laptops and many other gadgets can have a monetary value and use. Continue reading

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs revealed at MWC event


Samsung Galaxy S5 specsAs I told you a few weeks ago here, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event yesterday along with a whole host of other handsets and smart watches from some of the World’s leading manufacturers. The S5 was the standout turn though and it is easy to see why, the Samsung Galaxy S5 specs, although not ground breaking, are yet another step up.
