For many of us, Google Maps is the navigation tool of choice so the incorporation of faster routes updating with the latest Google Maps update can only be a good thing as we try to get from A to B as efficiently as possible. There aren’t many features that would drastically improve Google Maps but faster routes is one. iPhone is the most valuable cell phone for thieves
Newly released figures by the Wall Street Journal show that in New York City, nearly a fifth of all grand larceny* cases in 2013 involved an Apple product being taken. 18 percent to be precise. The iPhone is the most valuable cell phone to thieves who are also targeting Apples iPads and iPods as they know that reselling these high end devices will yield the highest returns. iOS 7.0.4 update available
Another week, another update from Apple, this time it’s the iOS 7.0.4 update that is now available. The iOS 7.0.4 update seems to be a very minor one and we noticed no real changes at all, but it says a lot that since the launch of iOS7 a few months ago, this is the 4th version update to be launched, hopefully they get it right this time. iOS7.0.3 download now available
As I told you earlier in the week, the iOS7.0.3 download to fix all of our bugs and issues is now available to all iPhone and iPad users. The iOS7.0.3 download also includes some new features along with the bug fixes that we are waiting for to solve issues such as iMessage failures.
The update includes new iCloud Keychain and Password Generator support. iCloud Keychain keeps track of all of your account names, passwords and also credit card numbers, these are then accessible across all of your devices and the info is encrypted so cannot be read by Apple. Password Generator allows the Safari browser to suggest hard-to-guess passwords for your online accounts to increase your security. Wikipedia and web search have also been added back in to the spotlight search. Continue reading
iOS 7.0.3 update on its way to fix all our problems?
It looks like Apples much anticipated iOS 7.0.3 update will be rolled out this week. Rumor has it that iOS 7.0.3 is currently being put through its final tests by employees and Apple partners before being released. Let all of us Apple users hope that this round of testing is far more thorough than the tests that iOS7, iOS 7.0.1 and iOS 7.0.2 were put through before being released riddled with bugs.
