For many of us, Google Maps is the navigation tool of choice so the incorporation of faster routes updating with the latest Google Maps update can only be a good thing as we try to get from A to B as efficiently as possible. There aren’t many features that would drastically improve Google Maps but faster routes is one. Automatically advising me of a faster route once it realises I am at crawling pace is a feature many of us will come to rely on. Continue reading

Earn extra money in January by recycling your gadgets
Everyone knows that January is one of the hardest months of the year in terms of cash flow, it can really give you the January-blues. You can earn extra money in January though by recycling your old cell phones, tablets, gadgets and electronic devices for cash. Not only will it put some fast cash in your pocket, it will also help the environment.
Christmas is the most expensive time of the year for most people, present buying, extra food and alcohol purchasing and time off work all contribute to you having less (or in some cases ‘no’) money in your pocket at the start of the year once the festive season is over. There was a time many years ago when Motorola were the pioneers of the cellular phone. There was also a time not so many years ago when Motorola were the laughing stock of the industry with sub-standard handsets plagued with bugs and crashes as their rivals overtook then for quality and innovation. But, the Motorola Moto X is getting some rave reviews and might just be the handset to relaunch Motorola to the forefront. Can it be the big Christmas winner this year? Let’s find out, here’s my Motorola Moto X review.
It’s impressive, that’s the first thing I noticed when holding it to give it an extensive check over and review. It feels solid despite being plastic (much like the iPhone 5c) and is very responsive. Customization is a big feature of the Moto X, Motorola’s Moto Maker online tool allows you to customize the colors of the front, back and trim at point of purchase and they boast 252 different color combinations right down to the volume button and camera bezel colors. Personalised printing is also available. There is also a ‘wood effect’ finish available although I must say this isn’t my cup of tea. Continue reading
