Hi all, today’s post is the first in a quarterly series where I bring you some interesting American phone recycling industry statistics taken from our website www.sellmycellphones.com analytics.

It is also my first attempt at an infographic, so as Doc Brown once said, “I apologise for the crudity of the model”. I am no designer and I know it’s a lame effort, but hopefully I will get better and of course, it’s the statistics that are the interesting part.

iOS7.1 download now available

 
 

iOS7.1 downloadThe iOS7.1 download is now available for all iPhone, iPad and iPod users that have compatible devices (iPhone 4 onwards) and it’s the biggest upgrade to iOS7 since its launch six months ago.

As well as a host of security flaw, bug and stability fixes, the iOS7.1 download includes some feature enhancements, although some will only apply to the top end models. Some of the iOS7.1 features are pretty cool, for example, Apple has recognised that the chipset in the iPhone 4 is not as advanced as the latest models so has streamlined the iOS7 functionality to ensure that it runs as quickly as possible. iPhone - the most valuable cell phoneNewly released figures by the Wall Street Journal show that in New York City, nearly a fifth of all grand larceny* cases in 2013 involved an Apple product being taken. 18 percent to be precise. The iPhone is the most valuable cell phone to thieves who are also targeting Apples iPads and iPods as they know that reselling these high end devices will yield the highest returns.
